Trading Terms & Conditions

First Order

  • The first order is Pro Forma.
  • Minimum Orders are $500.00.

Subsequent Orders on Account

These are customers who have completed their Pro Forma order and have returned, and had approved, an 'Independence Studios' Credit Application Form.

  • All Invoices on Account are payable in full by end of month following date of invoice.
  • A 5% Settlement Discount is applicable upon payment of invoices within 7 days of receipt of your invoice.

Payment Methods

  • Direct Deposit details are given on the bottom left hand corner of all Invoices.
  • We accept payments by  
        • Cheque
        • Direct Deposit
        • Credit Card:
            • BankCard,
            • Mastercard,
            • VisaCard
            • American Express

Delivery

  • Delivery is by our carrier.
  • Freight is based on 'cost' price.
  • Delivery can not be made to Post Office Boxes.

Credit Claims

All Credit Claims should be made in writing. They may be sent by:

  • Fax to toll free 1800 819 578 or in Sydney to (02) 9905 0552

Customers have 30 days to try a product and we will accept it back and offer full credit so long as goods are as new:

  • Packaging not marked or damaged
  • No price labels
  • Goods must be packed carefully so they do not get damaged in transit

A 15% restocking fee will apply for late returns, if Independence Studios has agreed to the return.

Price Adjustment - Customer must notify us within 7 days of receipt of goods

Faulty Goods - Customer must notify us within 30 days of receipt of faulty goods

Short Supply - Customer must notify us within 7 days of receipt of order

Freight incorrectly charged - Customer must notify us within 7 days of receipt of invoice.

General Notes

  • All Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars.
  • All Prices exclude GST.
  • All Goods remain the property of Independence Studios until payment is received in full.
  • Risk on products passes to You upon dispatch by Us.
  • Goods will not be supplied to overdue accounts until such time as the account is brought up to date.
  • We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts as well as all collection costs and Solicitors fees in recovering any late payment of this account. 
  • Overdue accounts paid by Credit Card will also attract the fee charged to Independence Studios by the Credit Card Company.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Goods are supplied ex-store and you are responsible for all freight costs.

New Zealand Customers

  • Please note, the following ranges are not available in New Zealand: Magnetic Poetry, Wrist Wrappers, Present Time, Popular Playthings, Blue Q, Joseph and Joseph, Triple C, Sticky Notes and Jellycat.
